WEEKLY MINUTES: LATINO CHAMBER BUSINESS CENTER an interview with Myra Medrano
This week, we interview Myra Medrano, business and community service manager at Madison Gas & Electric and President of the Latino Chamber of Commerce of Dane County. The Latino Chamber recently built a new business resource center in Monona! The mission of the Latino Chamber is to advocate for Latino entrepreneurs and provide support through information, resources and technical assistance.
This new resource center allows the chamber to better assist Latino entrepreneurs by not only providing assessments and information, but by also giving them a place and the tools to implement the action items recommended. The new center also has a membership program
The new center has a membership program that serves not only the entrepreneurs, but the professional services and contacts that want to help as well. They are now better equipped to help make connections and provide entrepreneurs with getting in touch with an accountant, or someone to help with a lease or legal advice.
If you are interested in learning more about the Latino Chamber’s Emerging Business Development Center, signing up for a membership, or providing services and support, their information is listed below.
